Addiction.
I have always loved to cook, and was even more so of that than a person who enjoys baking. But ever since graduating college, I have shifted into full-throttle to the point where I may have indeed acquired a new addiction.
And I am saying this in all honesty. I’m aware that there’s nothing wrong with cooking; I have always felt better eating my own foods of which I had prepared for as long as I can remember versus eating out. But then, you slowly start to realize that cooking for two people isn’t enough, and the only way to satisfy your urges is by hosting others. This, too, has no harmful side affects to our own selves. However, when you find yourself shopping between 3-5x/week more than an average person would, you become aware of how your finances leaves your bank account quickly, yet silently.
My name is Chad, and I am addicted to cooking. There is nothing more satisfying, other than the flavored dishes that I’ve prepared using my own hands, than to see others around me enjoy in happiness as well.
